Wout Alleman Announcement

When BUFF® Megamo Team signed Wout Alleman ahead of the 2024 season, it was one of the biggest transfers in marathon mountain biking.

The season was already over. The riders were back home across Europe, there was no production budget for a team shoot, and meeting everyone in the same place wasn't an option.

Instead of seeing those limitations as a problem, they became the concept.

The idea was built around one simple rule: every rider had to be part of the announcement.

From my studio, I directed each athlete remotely, sending filming guidelines and asking them to record their own clips. Every rider brought their own personality, while the identity of the new teammate remained hidden until the final reveal.

The result felt less like a transfer announcement and more like a welcome from the team itself reflecting the atmosphere that has always defined BUFF® Megamo.

The signing generated plenty of attention. The film helped amplify that moment and became the first chapter of what would go on to be another remarkable season for the team.
