Skateboarding defined my youth. I was sponsored, filming video parts, and putting everything into the board until a handrail took my knee.
Endurance sports became my fresh start. They ran on the same simple arithmetic over a longer distance: effort equals results. You push, you sweat, you get there. Somewhere along that path came what I actually wanted to do: film the outdoor sports world.
Since then, I’ve shot for Nike, Ceramic Speed, Adidas, Canyon, Buff, Megamo, Epic Series, BH, Orbea, Ford, and ASICS, among others.
At some point I also didn't want to be just a spectator so I started riding myself. Finishing 2nd overall in a 430km +6,500m ultra-gravel race proved something crucial to my work: I shoot these stories from inside the effort, not from the side of the road.
Crews scale to the project. From an agile single operator to a full production unit. But what never changes is the intent: the person holding the camera on a 4 a.m. climb is the same person cutting the film. It’s the only way I know to keep a story honest to the day it was shot.
Craft to render. Concept, shooting, editing, and color. End-to-end filmmaking with no loss of signal.
