Madrid to Barcelona

A documentary following a relay team running 682 kilometres nonstop from Madrid to Barcelona.

The objective was simple: stay with the team from start to finish and document the challenge as it unfolded. No shortcuts, no second takes, and very little sleep.

For over 48 hours, I followed the runners continuously while producing both the documentary and four social media edits that were delivered during the event itself. With no dedicated crew, filming, editing, backing up footage, and keeping up with the pace of the challenge all became part of the same job.

The team completed the crossing in 48 hours and 25 minutes.

Projects like this depend less on the camera than on endurance, preparation, and the ability to keep making good decisions after two days on the road.
