Beyond the Epic is a documentary created in real time, following one of the toughest mountain bike stage races in the world from the inside. Every episode is filmed, edited, and published during the race itself, with no script, no hindsight, and no polished narrative.

Because that's not how the Cape Epic feels.

There are no guarantees. We might win. We might lose. We might break. We might surprise ourselves.

But this project isn't about chasing a result.

It's about documenting the reality of elite endurance sport: the exhaustion, the uncertainty, the setbacks, the small victories, the conversations that never make the broadcast, and the moments that define the journey far more than the final standings.

The story unfolds one day at a time.
