The ASICS project
The ASICS project
Project Sevilla brought together twenty elite runners and researchers from the ASICS Institute of Sport Science to study how different pacing strategies influence an athlete's perception of effort.
Over several days in Seville, every session, briefing, and test became part of the story. The challenge was to document a scientific study without losing the human side of it, balancing research with the athletes' experience.
Working alongside Samuele Marcora, the film follows the experiment as it unfolds, capturing both the controlled environment of the testing protocol and the moments in between that rarely make it into research papers.
The result is a documentary that translates a complex scientific study into a story that athletes can connect with.
